The myth of Daphne tells the story of a desperate escape toward freedom, rebelling against the blind desire of a deity.
The nymph is willing to do anything to avoid falling into the hands of her pursuer, even to the point of giving up her human form to become one with Nature.
She is depicted by DIAS during her metamorphosis: from the chaos of the violent transformation will come symbiosis with natural elements and the peace of a restored order.
This, for us, is DAPHNE.
